The Ilulissat Icefjord

 Watch this 5-minute film about the Ilulissat Kangia Icefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (UNESCO is the United Nations’ Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.) This icefjord is one of the few places where the Greenland ice sheet meets the ocean. The Sermeq Kujalleq glacier here is one of the most active glaciers in the world, calving over 8.4 cubic miles of ice annually.
